1. What Lineup is
Lineup is a surf community app that lets surfers check in at surf spots, see who's out, share quick notes, and chat with people in the water. It is operated by Lineup App and is available at lineupspot.com.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Lineup.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- One account per person. Fake or duplicate accounts are not allowed.
- Your username must not impersonate another person or brand.
3. What you can and can't do
You may use Lineup to check in, chat, and connect with other surfers. You may not:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
- Post spam, illegal content, or content that violates anyone's rights.
- Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service.
- Check in at a spot you are not actually at.
4. Your content
You own the content you post (messages, profile info, photos). By posting it, you grant Lineup a non-exclusive licence to display it within the app to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not sell it.
We may remove content that violates these terms without notice.
5. Surf safety — important
⚠️ Lineup shows surf conditions based on third-party forecast APIs. These are estimates only. Conditions can change rapidly. Always assess the ocean yourself before entering the water. Lineup is not responsible for any surf-related accidents, injuries, or incidents. Surf within your ability and never alone in heavy conditions.
6. Service availability
We aim to keep Lineup running but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, pause, or discontinue features at any time. We'll try to give notice for significant changes.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Lineup is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including reliance on forecast data.
8. Account termination
We may suspend or delete accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@lineupspot.com.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you via the app for material changes. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Spanish courts.
